what is the reason to have both switch port access and switch port mode trunk on the same interface.
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/3
description Uplink
switchport access vlan 10
switchport mode trunk
!
Can anyone explain on this

this was more than likely an error as the interface will still take both commands, my guess is that it will be a trunk interface but you can verify this with sh interface trunk or sh interface gi1/0/3 switchport

there is no reason, the port is hardcoded as a trunk so that command has no use. It would only mean something if it said switchport mode access. It doesn't hurt anything but it doesn't do anything either .
