Dear all,

I think recent devices are not supported for errdisable duplex-mismatch feature right?

For example, if I check throught the following command on Cat65-SUP2T however it is not supported.

Cat65-SUP2T#sh errdisable detect
ErrDisable Reason Detection status
----------------- ----------------
udld Enabled port

https://community.cisco.com/t5/networking-documents/switch-port-is-in-errdisable-status-due-to-a-duplex-mismatch/ta-p/3131439

Cat5500> (enable) show errdisable-timeout
ErrDisable Reason   Timeout Status
------------------- --------------
bpdu-guard          disable
channel-misconfig   disable
duplex-mismatch     enable

#######################################

I think recently most of cisco devices are not integreted such feature.

Best Regards,

Masanobu Hiyoshi

Duplex mismatch won't trigger an error-disable of a port.
What is the output to the command "sh int status err"?

Thank you but it's nothing like this.

Cat65-SUP2T#sh int status err-disabled
Cat65-SUP2T#

[Condition]

Cat65-SUP2T-G1/1(speed 100, duplex ful) ----- G0/10(speed 100, duplex half)-Cat3560G

Is the duplex and speed hard coded in the port configuration?

I am sure but the LC is WS-X6848-GE-TX so the speed auto or fixed are possible.

What is the hard coded meaning? 1G Fixed LC right?

It can't be fibre. It's connected to port 10 on a 3560G. That's a copper port.
Post the complete output to the 6500 command "sh run interface Gi 1/1".

Hi, I replaced "WS-X6848-SFP" but it can not change duplex configuration as follows.

Cat65-SUP2T(config)#int g1/1
Cat65-SUP2T(config-if)#
Cat65-SUP2T(config-if)#speed ?
1000 Force 1000 Mbps operation
nonegotiate Do not negotiate speed

% Unrecognized command
Cat65-SUP2T(config-if)#duplex half
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

Cat65-SUP2T#sh run int G1/1
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 66 bytes
!
interface GigabitEthernet1/1
no ip address
no cdp enable
end

Cat65-SUP2T#sh int status err-disabled
Cat65-SUP2T#

Regards,

What about the port config of the 3560?
