I am using 3500 series switch which is 1st configured on 2007 and now we are recieving complaint about that switch.
I has very high response Time as compare to others (Network Performance Monitor) , no mismatch error, no ports error but still facing high response time.
Can any one tell me why it that so ? what is the solution ? and what is the maximum age of switch ?
Thanks for help in advance.

Hello,
Did you run the general checkups with the switch connections (ex: any existing uplink errors, CPU usage, config changes etc). Also, what
was the base response time for the switch?
thx

Response time is 15 ms but other switches have 5 ms. I also check error reports which is good and 100 availability.

and what is the maximum age of switch ?
3500XL is end-of-support back in 2007 and was available since 2000. So it's a pretty old switch.
Have you tried rebooting the switch and see if this solves the issue?
