We are considering upgrade our 4510 series modular platform with a 4500X model with 10GB connectivity to 5 other buildings. Does anyone have a similar configuration running? We have about 65 switches in total connecting in to the 4510.
I have used 4500x as core switches. As long as you have enough 1/10Gig ports these switches are fine.
