Switches reverting to an old config 2960's

I have several 2960 switches (actually hundreds) that when they got hit by power tonight, they reverted to a 6-month old config. I promise you that both "wr mem" and "copy run start" had been run on these switches since we reconfigured them. Looking at one of the ones that this happened to, I see a config-register of 0xF. Is this correct? I swear the "sh run" and "sh start" are the same config (easy to spot, we changed naming convention).

The config register value oxf is appropriate for the switch .

I unfortunately do not know as to why after power hit your switch went to 6 month old config.

After switch rebooted did you see any error message in the logs ?
