Switchstack 3750 vs IOS vesrions

his

Hi everyone!

We have several stack switches with different IOS on them (basically ipbase 12.2 IOS). It`s needed to move from telnet to SSH. So I should upgrade IOS from ipbase to ipbasek9.

I have found that all IOS since 12.2 ipbasek9 supports SSH. But not all supports Cisco Stackwise technology. For example:

current IOS file - c3750-ipservices-mz.122-25.SEB4.bin (w/o SSH)

latest IOS file - c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE9.bin (w/o Stackwise)

Preffered for us file - c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE5.bin (SSH + Stackwise). But it`s not the latest one.

Please assist is is true that the latest IOS version doesn`t support Stackwise technology for 3750 switches?

ALL IOS for the 3750 supports Stackwise.  Period.

I'd recommend you use 12.2(55)SE9 instead.  Your choice of IOS, 12.2(50)SE5, is a joke.

As Leo notes, all 3750s support stacking, physically.  However, at least with the 3750X, the LANBASE license has/had restricted stacking support.
