We have 2811 routers and most are not local, some fans have started to die and we are receiving in excess of 3000 traps a day on ENV syslog. Does anyone know of a way to kill the syslog trap for only the ENV monitor?
thanks for any help.

Hi,
you may try this "no snmp-server enable traps envmon" command.
If you want to disable all snmp traps, just give no snmp-server enable traps.........all snmps traps will be disabled.

thanks for suggestion, I tried initialy this command with no change.
I can only shut down this trap alone so the global command cannot be used.
thanks again.
