Hi,
I gonna configure a new termial server for connecting 13 of my datacenter devices, but the data centre quite big and all devices far from TS like more than 100 to 150 mts.
I am yet to order for cables which is going be used for connecting all devices to TS.
My questions is what is the maximum length of the cables available for connecting these devices.
Regards,
MD

If I understand you correctly, we are talking about serial cable for console?
Сheck out the article:
http://www.lammertbies.nl/comm/info/RS-232_specs.html
When using the UTP Cat-5 cable for 9600 baud rates the maximum allowed cable length is 500 feet (See the table RS232 cable length according to Texas Instruments).

Thank you for your response.
In this case, can i use repeater to boost the signals ?
Is there any way I can increase the signals for than 500 feet.?

Mohan,
If you need your async lines to be longer than 500ft you will need to think about using line drivers
TERM SERVER ---- LINE DRIVER ---- CAT 5/6 ---- LINE DRIVER ----- CONSOLE PORT etc
Something like these from black box

Alex.
