Testing multicast on Nexus

Hi,

     I am practicing configuring multicast on the Nexus platform and trying to understand how does one test the multicast path? On an IOS it was as simple as joining the multicast group and from another router just pinging the multicast address. How do I perform the same testing on Nexus?

Multicast concept remains same across all the Cat or Nexus technology.

Here is what you can do:-

Nexex(Sender)--------N2----N3-------N4(REciever)

Make sure you are running ip pim sparse/dense running on the devices.

Then o the same testing as the ping.
