The future of the 2960X

Hi all,

Does anyone have any information regarding what Cisco equipment will eventually replace the C2960X when it goes EOL? Like most of you, we have several thousand 2960X deployed on our networks and several large scale deployments planned in the coming months/years.  Whilst it would be nice to begin deploying C9300 in all of these locations, I'm not sure that the 9300 makes the best access switch.  OK, actually it does make for a very good access switch, but it's a bit costly. Any idees?

I personally like the 2960S, however, our SE told us that nothing "new" has been discussed or over the horizon.
This information, however, changes on a day-to-day basis. I'd recommend you talk to your SE/AM.
