Anyone else having issues with Threshold Violations (%SFF8472-5-Threshold Violation) err-disabling uplink ports on 3560X or 3750V2 Switches? The Error Message Decorder suggests a damaged fiber optic cable or DOM transceiver but when I move the very same optic cable and SFP uplink to a different port it starts working again. Is anyone else seeing this problem or have a solution?

Susan,
According to Cisco, this is just a cosmetic bug in most Cisco switches with fiber ports. Sometime, by shutting down unused fiber ports, this issue goes away, but have seen it on ports that are connected and in production. So, this bug does no harm but fills up the logs.
I still suggest you open a TAC case with Cisco, so they have multiple tickets on file.
