Hi All,
We are getting the below attached error in our switches . Our current switch model is C9300 - 24S and connected to C9200 series.
Earlier it was 3750 and it is connected with another 2960 Switch. At that time we were not getting the below alarm in console ( In show logging )
This interface - Gi1/0/1 is configured as an access port.
Error Message:
Oct 17 09:51:42.854 UAE: %SFF8472-3-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION: Gi1/0/1: Rx power low warning; Operating value: -19.3 dBm, Threshold value: -19.0 dBm.

Please help to know is there any specific additional commands requred for the SFP ports in 9300 series ?
Regards,
SK

Post the complete output to the following commands:
sh interface Gi1/0/1 trans det

Hi,
Log messages are for port Gi1/0/1, while the provided output "sh interfaces gigabitEthernet 1/0/4 transceiver detail" is for port Gi1/0/4; I guess you're seeing similar log messages also for port Gi1/0/4?
Have you tried reseating the SFP on both sides and the fiber as well? If logs still pop-up, you might hit a bug, try looking for an IOS upgrade to a recommended maintenance release.
Best,
Cristian.

Hi,
Additionally, not related to your problem, you could enable DOM on all your CAT9K switches, for better optics monitoring:
transceiver type all
monitoring
After performing IOS upgrade, use this document to further perform investigations: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-9500-series-switches/218397-troubleshoot-port-flaps-on-catalyst-9000.html
Best,
Cristian.

Threshold of receive power is -19.0 dBm and Operating value: -19.3 dBm. There is very less difference and does not impact normal operation.
Please clean the SPF and connector of patch cord and check the result.

- Sometimes these errors are related to bugs and not actually true, and then normal operation can be continued without further actions ,
