What triggers a L2-switch configured as "ip icmp snooping querier" to send out group-specific queries to a multicast group? I know that this normally happens after IGMP Leave messages to speed up the Leave process, however in my case there are no such messages visible in a wireshark trace. I wonder whether there are other conditions that bring the switch to send out this kind of message.
Any hint is appreciated.

Wondering if the wireshark capture time is greater then the igmp query interval.

I can see the General Membership Query on a regular basis of 60 secs and the two Group-specific queries 1 sec after the other. It is IGMPv2 I am looking at.
So, yes the wireshark capture time is greater then the igmp query interval.
