Re: Trunk interface Blinking orange

Hi,

It depends on the switch, it could be a spanning tree issue. See below from the following link

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps700/products_tech_note09186a008015bfd6.shtml

"If a port has a solid orange  light, this means the software inside the switch shut down the port, either by way of the user interface or by internal processes.

Some port LEDs of the platform work differently in regard to STP. For example, the Catalyst 1900/2820 turns ports orange when they are in STP       blocking mode. In this case, an orange light can indicate the normal functions  of the STP. The Catalyst 6000/5000/4000 does not turn the port light orange when it blocks for STP."

Re: Trunk interface Blinking orange

I have Found this output in CNA

Description: Gi1/0/49: Vlan mismatch was found on this link.

Recommendation: Make sure that the ports on this link has same Vlan ID.

Re: Trunk interface Blinking orange

Can you post the config of both trunk interface?

What is the media used for these two Trunk links?  Copper or Fibre?

Can you post the output of the command "sh interface trunk" of both links?
