Hello,
I have a ca6500 that has a connection to a Nexus 7000.
I'm trunking one single VLAN from the 6500 to the Nexus 7000. From the Nexus 7000 I'm trunking that VLAN to a wireless controller. On the wireless controller I built an interface vlan on that network that the 6500
Is ther anything special I need to set to get this to work. I have set a up a trunk between the 6500 and 7000. I also have added the vlan from the 7000 to the wireless controller.
I still can't ping default gateway.
Any ideas?

Is Nexus 7K running as a layer-2 device?
how about the 6500? If the 6500 is running is layer-3, did you create the SVI for the vlan you are using?

Hi,
What is the spanning-tree states for that vlan in the trunk?
Show spanning-tree vlan
Show spanning-tree interface
Also pls check whether the vlan is pruned in this interface or not.
show interface pruning
show interface
Hope this helps
Cheers
