Quick Trunk questions. It doesn't matter what the Access mode VLAN is if the port is trunking, correct?

Thanks, Pat.

You are correct. Access mode vlan doesnt matter.

Negotiation of Trunking: On

this is why the trunk will come up regardless.

Hi,

The operational mode is trunking, which means the switchport is indeed running in trunk mode, therefore the access vlan does not matter.

Operational Mode: trunk

Best regards,

Andras
