You need to elaborate a little on 'no success'.

Effectively so far you have said.

'I have a problem, please help me' but you have not explained the symptoms of the issue.

and they don't recognize each other.

any suggestions ?

Did you follow this link to add the new member:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-3750-series-switches/71925-cat3750-create-switch-stks.html#stack3

Make sure the new switch does not have any config on it and to connect the stacking cable before turning it on.

HTH

Hi,

the issue was that the stack ports got shutdown by itself.

maybe it happend due to the fact the 4th switch was in LAN Base license.

I've upgraded the license to ipservices and activated it - yet it didn't came up.

when I tried the command show swtich stack-ports - I've noticed that there are 2 ports that are on "down".

so I've initiated the command switch <number> stack port <number> enable

and it had solved the problem.

Thanks for the update

Glad to know the issue is resolved.
