We have two separate 4500x stacks set up with VSS. They are connected by a LC cable, same VTP domain, version, and pass. We have verified that the correct addressing is being used. The management VLAN can be pinged on each by plugging in a test client, but there is no communication going between the two stacks, except for VSS which is working fine.
We had this problem during an install, so we brought them back and wiped them clean and started over again to make sure there weren't any wrong configurations added, and have now run into the same problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
EDIT: Also, the stacks can see each other via CDP.
