Unable to configure encapsulation on 3850 switch.

Hi, 

I am trying to configure encapsulation dot1q but unable to do that in 3850 core switch.

 

3850#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
3850(config)#int gi2/0/1
3850(config-if)#swi
3850(config-if)#switchport tru
3850(config-if)#switchport trunk encapsu
3850(config-if)#switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

Its dot1q by default you don't need too :) ISL was removed only option is dot1q left so they removed it as its default

You can see with show interface x/x switchport , once its sets to trunk
