Unable to connect UCS C220 to HP Procurve Switch

Hello,

I have an issue to connect UCS C220 server to the HP Procurve Switch. Base on the customer who manage the switch the switch port set up as a basic access port. 

We can not even ping the port.

Any sugestions? can someone post the requared configuration for the HP switch?

There near identical to a Cisco switch at layer 2 basic vlan config nothing irregular  , if you stick a laptop connected direct to it can you ping it just to make sure its not the UCS side ?
