Hello all,

I am having difficulty working with my AP. I finally got access to the console port as you can see by the picture. But I cannot access the TFTP server from my AP on my PC. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi, Here is a thread from yesterday, not exactly your model but have some good trouble shooting steps. Error says that it cant access the file, so make sure that you have renamed your image file (ex: - c1140-k9w7-tar.124-25d.JA.tar to be c1140-k9w7-tar.default **make sure there is no file extension presence**).Also don't forget to turn off the firewall. See how you go

I have confirmed that my computer is getting the broadcast signal from the AP, and that it is binding to 10.0.0.1. However, when I let go of the mode button, the download doesn't begin. What am I doing wrong here?

I finally got it to work by using linux. Thank you so much!

Hi,

Check that you have the correct ios image for access point( md5 check the file ) and you have renamed it correctly. Make sure the firewall on the PC is not stopping file transfer.

Thanks

John
