I have about 25 Aps connected to this switch and I was just trying to understand why I have high CPU and if the processes below are indicative of something that might be wrong with the switch or the config. There some traffic going through but nothing wild. only 100 megs out of the 10gig uplink.

1-If you run L2 roaming between AP, then MAC address is move and this make CPU high utilize.
2-check this bug

HULC and RedEarth are related to STP.

Are there any ports that are flapping continuously?

No not really.. honestly everything seems to be working but its just such high utilization. I have about 17 unused ports and they are all shutdown. since shutting them down it looks like switched has idle more on 50%

Hello,

shutting down unused ports is a very good idea and usually helps bringing CPU utilization down. That said, a utilization of around 50 percent is normal for these switches.

<65% for a 3750X is fine.

show mac-address-table notification mac-move <- check this command see if there is many MAC move
