upgrade c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-53.SE2.bin without License key

Hi Team,

I need your support  on the below requirement

1)  Customer network have two WS-C3750E-24PD-S  series switches , SW1 running  c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-53.SE2.bin   with IP base service .  SW2 running with c3750e-ipbasek9-mz.122-53.SE2.bin


Need to have stack between these two switches . with this existing IOS on the two switches  stack configuration will support ??

2)  On SW2 If I would like to upgrade c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-53.SE2.bin  from  c3750e-ipbasek9-mz.122-53.SE2.bin (note) without License key  . is SW2 comes up with permeant IP base service  IOS image  ?? and stack configuration possible ??

Hi Santosh,

You already have permanent ipbase license installed on both switch.  The licensed is installed once, and it will carry over to the new image (c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-53.SE2.bin) you are trying to install. So before you stack them make sure to upgrade the IOS.  Both switches need to have the same exact IOS.  Once the upgrade is done you are ready to tack them.  follow this link:

You already have permanent ipbase license installed on both switch.  The licensed is installed once, and it will carry over to the new image (c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-53.SE2.bin) you are trying to install. So before you stack them make sure to upgrade the IOS.  Both switches need to have the same exact IOS.  Once the upgrade is done you are ready to tack them.  follow this link:
