upgrade ios on the stacked switch

Hello,

Hello,

We have to upgrade ios on the stacked switch

The ports of Both switches (SW1&SW2 No LACP )are connected to one server (teaming port)

Can we upgrade without interrupting server connection?

When I upgrade switch 1, switch 2 should be active and when I upgrade switch 2, switch 1 should be active

Thank you

Not going to work.  One of the switches will not join the stack because the firmware is different to the active unit.

Recommend you organize for a window to get this done properly.

Hi

What model of switches do you have?

Is this stack running as L2 or L3 switch?

You can push the software on all stack members and reload switch by switch.

Thanks
Francesco
