user getting disconnect for ever 12 hours in lan network

link getting Down & UP for every 12 0r 24 hour

we have to core switch one old network and onther new network

so we make trunk between old and new network

old network trunk configuration

interface GigabitEthernet0/1
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport trunk allowed vlan 8,12
switchport mode trunk
spanning-tree guard root

new network trunk configuration

interface TenGigabitEthernet1/1/13
description *** Connected to SW-3560-A ***
switchport trunk allowed vlan 8,12
switchport mode trunk

Hello,

what does your topology look like ? The 4500 is a much bigger switch (as opposed to the 3560) and should ideally be the root.

Either way, if you need to keep the 3560 as the root, try and manually set the root priority for your VLANs on the 3560:

spanning-tree vlan 8 priority 1

spanning-tree vlan 12 priority 1
