Username without admin privilege

Good day everyone,

i need to create a Read-only and i already created it in my switch. As soon as i place the username and password it goes straight to global configuration. I need to set it that after i place the credentials it goes to switch>

Ok again: I need to create a read-only user but as soon as i create it, it goes straight to global mode.

I am trying this: switch(config)# username user privilege 5 password password

So when i try to log in, Instead of Switch> it goes stright to Switch#

Its either you have specifed it to do that in any AAA configuration you have running or on the specifc vty lines, Can post the config for both please.
