Dear all, I just want to verify my design. I am willing to have two Catalyst 2960X to be connected as attached picture. Existing FO already available, it is Multimode 62.5 um and FOPP port type is LC. As per https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/interfaces_modules/transceiver_modules/installation/note/OL_19329.html, I have to use a mode-conditioning patch cord (MCP).
Question:
1. Does my design are proper?
2. Should I use converter LC to SC since my FOPP is LC and no MCP has dual LC?
3. Will the converter degrade the speed?
PS: I am not IT guy.
