Verify router SNMP workability

Hi,

Is there any command to verify/test SNMP operating in the router?

Like certain application, i can telnet IP <port number>. Perhaps i can telnet (port 161 and162) from router/PC to router?

Hi,

You can verify with the "Show SNMP host" and "Show IP Sockets" command. 

You can check SNMP host configuration and same you can check connection/Socket establishment between Host and Switch/Router with Port number 161 or 162.

I notice some routers dont have sh ip sockets . May I know wht is the replacement command?
