Very slow wireless on 877w

Hi, I have a 877w running IOS C870-ADVSECURITYK9-M, Version 12.4(24)T2. For some reason I cannot get my wireless speed to go above 1.1MB/s.

Both NICs on my notebook and media centre are set for 802.11g. I also brought a 3rd computer into the mix and tried doing throughput tests between my own two computers to find I was getting the same speeds which indicates to me that the router is at fault.

Here is the wireless component of my config, can anyone see where I might improve it to get some decent throughput?

you can consider to increase the power level but one aspect that influences throughtput is the encryption complexity

>>  encryption mode ciphers aes-ccm

I would check if there are changes with a less demanding algorithm.
