Vlan flapping for different MAC(AP ports)

Hi all,

 

I need help here, from between AP ports and between up link to AP ports for example port Gi2/0/45 and port Gi1/0/23 vlan 993 is flapping

 - The VLAN is not flapping but MAC's ; perhaps due to roaming between the AP's. I tend to think this is harmless.

Is any way to stop these logs roaming between the AP's..

 

 - You could have a look at the 'logging discriminator' commands in IOS to suppress particular types of syslog messages (google for practical examples (e.g.)).

Hi there,

What is the purpose of VLAN993 and what do all of the fixed ports (ie gi1/0/1-48 and not gi1/1/1-4) have in common, what are they connected to?

Hi Seb,

 

G1/1/1 is uplink towards core switch, rest all are AP connected ports.

 

993 is wireless Vlan
