Re: Vlan flapping for different MAC(AP ports)

 - The VLAN is not flapping but MAC's ; perhaps due to roaming between the AP's. I tend to think this is harmless.

Thank you,

Is any way to stop these logs roaming between the AP's..

 - You could have a look at the 'logging discriminator' commands in IOS to suppress particular types of syslog messages (google for practical examples (e.g.)).

Re: Vlan flapping for different MAC(AP ports)

Hi there,

What is the purpose of VLAN993 and what do all of the fixed ports (ie gi1/0/1-48 and not gi1/1/1-4) have in common, what are they connected to?

cheers,

Seb.

Re: Vlan flapping for different MAC(AP ports)

Hi Seb,

G1/1/1 is uplink towards core switch, rest all are AP connected ports.

993 is wireless Vlan

Thanks
