VLan Hopping

Hi Guys,

VLAN hopping attacks is for an attacking host on a VLAN to gain access to traffic on other VLANs that would normally not be accessible.

So, in this case we are not able to ping different VLAN. If without doing vlan hopping if we are able ping different VLAN ip.

Then what is recommendation we need to provide for that. 

Please let  me know your feedback as soon as possible.

VLAN Hopping is an attack, not a legitimate tool for forwarding traffic between vlans.. however options for forwarding traffic between vlans include Router on a Stick or using a multilayer switch e.g. 3550 for inter-vlan routing among others. But before you go on making changes to a production network consult your security policy and design requirements because unless this is a brand new network you are probably not allowed by the network admins to access the subnets you are trying to ping...
