What is the good practice on setting up Vlan? Can I create the same Vlan number on a different network? Does Cisco recommend this practice? Thank you.

hi,
VLAN IDs are locally significant to each ethernet switching domain. As long as two ethernet switching domains are not connected, you should have no problems re-using VLAN IDs.

Yes you can but would this confuse a co-worker if they had to work on the network while you were out?

You would, of course, have to have knowledgeable co-workers. Do your co-workers get confused if you use the same DLCI at both ends of a frame-relay circuit :-)
