Hi, very new to vlans and need a little advice.
We have 2 cisco 2811 routers. And 2sites linked by Layer 2 connection with overture isg180's at ether end.
The problem we have is that we have been supplied with very limited information from the installation company.
All we have been told is
VLAN to Sheffield = 2021
VLAN to Birm = 2020
I believe these to be the Vlan tags?
Does anyone have a sample of a config files i look at or point me in the right direction?
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you in advanced

not sure if this is what you're looking for, but here's an example:
interface FastEthernet 1/0.4
encapsulation dot1q 4
The subinterface 1/0.4 is enapsulated using dot1q and is assigned to vlan 4

Sorted now. turns out the supplier of the national ethernet lines had given me the wrong Vlan Tags.
All i needed to do was set nottingham up as
SUB-IF encapsulation dot1q (VLAN TAG)
IP Address
No Shutdown
And all works now
Thanks
