Vlans 1, 1002 - 1005 : standard or extended?

Hi, 

Do the vlans 1 and 1002 through 1005, falls in standard vlans category or extended vlan category. I know they are reserved but will they fall in standard vlans as they show up in the "show vlan brief" command. Please tell me. I got a related question in my exam.

the short answer is:

1 - 1005 --> standard

1006 - 4094 --> extended

Just like to add extended vlans can be applied in any vtp version (1,2,3) however ONLY vtp ver3 saves to the vlan database and can be enabled in either server or transparent modes, version 1-2 extended vlans can be only enabled in transparent mode
