Voice VLAN for phones that already tag packets

Hello guys,

I have some SG550-24P as well as SG350-10p switches. I understand the concept behind Automatic Voice VLAN, and OUI settings etc. When switch is placing voice traffic onto specific VLAN based on LLDP / CDP / OUI. Here is where I'm a bit confised with all the possible Voice VLAN options and settings. I have Shoretel (now Mitel) phone system where the phones receive VLAN value to tag voice traffic through DHCP option. Thus the phones tag voice traffic with the correct VLAN to begin with.

The question is:

1. Should I not supply the phone with this option and let the switch place phones into voice vlan?

2. Configure the ports as if phones aren't tagging traffic using voice vlan enable (Enable Telephony OUI) / other methods available on the switch.

3. Confire as if it's a trunk to another switch and use ACL / ACE for QoS?

*What would be a proper configuration on a trunk port that connects to another switch which also has phones connected to it.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
