We purchased a Nexus 9000 within the last year, and we are using that as our core router. We have several 3750s and we have an NEC SV8500 with VoIP cards. Everything has been working find, until we purchase a 3850 stack and tried to configure it.
The VoIP cards were plugged into a 3750 in our data center. When we connect an trunk between 3850 stack the Nexus 9000, the VoIP cards stop responding to ping within a few seconds. I moved the VoIP cards over to the Nexus 9000, and reconnected the uplink to the Nexus 9000 and the pings drop random packets with occasional 100-500ms return times. When I unplug the uplink to the 3850, the pings for the VoIP cards go back to <1ms or 1ms. The NEC vendor says that we need QoS set on the ports on the 9000. I have Qos set on the 3850. At the moment there is only one VoIP telelphone connected to the 3850 stack.
Can someone give me an example configuration for the QoS setting for a non-Cisco VoIP system on the Nexus 9000?
