Hello,

Probably, if AP is in lightweight mode, AP is reloading continuously, because it can't reach and register on WLC.

Make sure, that port is configured correctly, so AP can reach WLC, and check the logs from AP itself, whether it is reloading or not.

NO , i talk about problem port switch  not about AP and WLC:=========>Why always port switch gi1/0/15 Switch port light is changing from green then light is amber then off. ????????,

i would to know what is the solution about port switch that link AP or WLC ????????,

thanks in adavance

what command can give you to know if ther problem ????,

AP ( acces + naive vlan acces ) + swith ( acces)

then i edit

trunk and trunk

then i changed switch new but problem is remain

but it remain problem port switch ????,

please , help me for this, port switch that link with AP1815I that allow is green ???????

I  send you a file : for swicth and AP

you can see , if you need other command

please help me to resolve the problem od port swicth with AP

orange means that port is in STP BLK (LIS,LRN) state, green means normal forwarding, off means not connected.

From what you are describing, port normally goes through STP blocking, to forwarding, and then to not connected. Does the port repeat this cycle?

As I said, it might happen because AP is reloading. AP might reload because it can't reach WLC. Or there is a problem with PoE, if AP is powered by the switch.

You can try to connect something else to port (not AP), if it will be stable (green), it means that problem is with AP, and most likely with communication between AP and WLC

rnet1/0/15, changed state to up/0/15

Vlan Role Sts Cost Prio.Nbr Type
------------------- ---- --- --------- -------- --------------------------------
VLAN0001 Desg LIS 4 128.15 P2p

this is output

what i can doing ??????

You can configure "spanning-tree portfast" on interface towards AP, or "spanning-tree portfast trunk", if it is in trunk mode. It will help to bring port to forwarding state faster.

Also, if you connect other device (not AP), is the port stable?

I think, there is no simple solution, or command, a lot of things need to be checked:

1. Is your AP in standalone mode or lightweight?

2. Is your AP powered by PoE from switch or by external PS?

3. Do you have access to console of AP? Can you collect logs there?

4. Does your AP has static IP, or it should  receive it via DHCP?

5. If DHCP, does it receive IP settings correctly?

6. Do these IP settings contain correct option for WLC IP address?

7. Are WLC and AP mutually reachable via CAPWAP ports?

now , port switch now is green after off ???????

i configure spannigtree portfast in gi1/0/15

 AP in cisco moblity express

AP powered by PoE from switch

AP has static IP

==> what i can used to verify other command ?????,

For how long is it green, before turning off?

Does this cycle (green-->off-->green) repeats automatically?

You need to check connectivity between WLC and AP (start with simple ping) and logs from AP. There is no single command, a lot of things can be checked, depends on topology.

i send you a file that have loggin consol  for AP

please help with this problem

it green, before turning off about 60 seconde

cycle (green-->off-->green) repeats automatically :=======> YES

i give about loggon consol AP :

i pin from PC to AP ME:==>
