VSS 4500X

Hi All,

I'm looking for the following command dual active-exclude interface *** on the 4500x however it doesn't seem available. So when the VSL fails the switch that goes into recovery mode shuts down all interface's except management and the VSL port, however i want to specify other interfaces not to be shutdown during this process, can this be done?

test-switch(config-vs-domain)#dual-active ?

 detection  Dual-active detection enable

 recovery   Recovery IP address

Hi,

This command is not available on the 4500 series VSS switches.  It is only available on the 6500 and 6800 series switches.

I take it there is no command to replace it on the 4500X?

That is correct. There is no command that I can find.
