VSS between two different 4500 Switches

Can I establish a VSS between a 16 ports and 24 (16+8 card) Ports 4500x switches?

No, for VSS the hardware should be the same type.

Can you please share any link. Secondly If i have both switches with 24 ports (16+8 ports card). I think there shouldn't be any issue. right?
