VSS VSL Question

Hi All,

In VSS , I know that VSL is recommended to be 2 links at minimum and may be in different modules . Can we make both VSL Links in different modules where the sup engine is not one of them ??

We have a new VSS installation and the X2 interface OM4 Fiber cable is missing and we need to proceed in the installation .

Hi

You can do that but be careful reason being is SUP boots, comes up first before linecards so VSS wont form first if VSL is across just linecards but it should still work may take a bit on bootup
