Hi,

You may be having issues with power bay or hitting one of the bugs:

CSCtw58778    WAVE694 raised alarm for missing PSU

CSCtq33146    PSU "No Power" Alarm Raised After AC Power Cycle

Try the workaround:

- Perform a graceful DC power off using the CLI command "shutdown poweroff"

before turning off the AC power supply.

OR

- If the device lost power for any unexpected reason and the "no power" alarm exists, check the PSU status by using the command "show hardware | inc Power".

Look for status of the PSU reported in the alarm.  If there is a mismatch in the status, clear SEL logs using "clear bmc event-log" and reboot the device.

Also note this post should be moved to "Wide Area Application Services (WAAS)".

Redundant Power Supply Unit (Disconnected; No power)

-WAAS004#show hardware | inc Power
System restart reason: Power-on.
System Power Restore       : Power On
Primary Power Supply Unit (Disconnected; No power)
Redundant Power Supply Unit (Disconnected; No power)

Hi,

Did you try the workaround for potential bugs with such symptoms I posted above? Or upgrade the code to have those fixed. Specifically, the following DDTS seems to be a good match:

CSCtq33146 - PSU "No Power" Alarm Raised After AC Power Cycle

Also, I recommend to move this thread into "Wide Area Application Services (WAAS)" - this way you get more views from experts on this platform. It is currently in LAN, which is incorrect.

Ivan Shirshin
