WCCP CONFIGURATION

I have aproblem in configuring WCCP on cisco 6500 switch so could you pls help me to know if this IOS support or not the IOS is System image file is "sup-bootflash:s72033-ipservices_wan-mz.122-33.SXH5.bin"

and if support could you help me to configure it\

Yes, WCCP is supported in Cat6500 running 12.2(33)SXH releases.

I have a performance issue with WCCP using Websense V100000 Content filters.  Wehnever we increase the WCCP redirected traffic all Internet connectivity slows down extremely.  Are there any WCCP tuining parameters?  WCCP is enabled on a Catalyst 6509, WS-X6K-S2U-MSFC2, IOS version 12.2(18)SXF16.

Performance/scabality of WCCP in Cat6500 depends on various factors like:

- type of redirection (L2 Vs. GRE)

- type of assigment (Hash Vs. Mask)

- # of bits used (to load-balance) in MASK method (# of bits influence TCAM usage)
