WCCP Packet redirect not beeingbdisplayed

Hi all,

I have configured a cat 6500 with WS67XX blades and sup720  with wccpv2 with a ironport S360 for http/https proxy service. After enabling the wccp service on both cat 6500 and ironport S360 i see that wccp was sucessufly negociated on the two boxes. The problem is that with show ip wccp 61 view or show ip wccp 61 detail i dont see any redirect packets (all 0). I have read in cco that for L2 redirection the redirect packets are made on the PFC and are not visible to the MSFC. Can any one confirm  this behavior or is there any configuration that needs to be done on the router to see the packets beeing redirect to the proxy engine. On the proxy i see the packets beeing redirected but the counts are always 0.

Thanks

About 3 months ago we had the Ironport Proxy traffic being redirected from our 6509s via WCCP.  It is normal to not see the L2 redirected packets incrementing when you issue the "show ip wccp 61 detail" command since it is using hardware redirection.

We have since moved the wccp redirection to our ASA firewalls since I needed to move my redirection for WAAS back to the 6509s.  I am still seeing 0 packets being redirected according to the output but I know I am optimizing based on the output from my WAAS servers.

Regards
