From experience never buy anything that the switch does not have listed as supported , here is what 3650 can connect with

Hi
there fibre ports so you can either use a GLC-T 1000 base and then you can use copper cat6 , bascaiily fibre to copper converter
or insert an actual fibre SFP like GLC-SX-MM an use LC-LC cabling or some other fibre type depending distance and what you require locally

Hi,
I found this on cisco website, not sure it is built for this purpose or not.
(10-Gigabit Ethernet CX1 Copper Connector)
can you confirm, if that is through to order it ?

no I wouldn't get that those ports don't support 10gb there 1gb module ports

But if the CX1 supports 1gb , it is enough for me. can I go with that ? because it is cisco product

Hi,
Are you referring to the uplink ports (fiber)?
For the user side, you can use copper but for the uplinks you would need to use fiber transceivers with fiber patch cords.

Yes I m referring to the 4-uplink ports. I want to interconnect two Cat-3650 switches. does cisco offers the fiber transceivers with patch cords ? if yes, can you please tell me the part-number. I couldn't find it on cisco
