I have a Cisco 1841 router that I obtained for my CCNA home lab. I was going through the process of resetting the device to factory default and this message keeps appearing in a loop.

Hello,
open the chassis of the router and reseat the memory/DRAM module(s).
It (obviously) might be that the entire router is bricked. The 1841 is end-of-life as of 2010, so chances are you router is very old...
08-31-2021 11:53 AM
Hello George, I reseat the memory/DRAM module(s) and now I'm unable to connect to the router. Is there something else I can do?

This suggests as a bug in IOS or Could be a hardware fault - most probably in the RAM. If you support a contract raise a TAC case for RMA, I see a hardware issue.
