When I open PC0 in packet tracer is open as blank and can't configure

When I open PC0 in cisco packet tracer the configuration window opens as blank and I cannot do any configuration. But when I open 2960-24 TT switch 0 the configuration windows open alright and I can do configuration. Note the operating sysyten software on my laptop is Windows 7. Please kindly offer me urgent help to resolve this problem. Thank you

have not seen such issue.  have u tried re-install it?  What is PT version and what Win 7 bit version (32 or 64)?  Try match version, aka install PT 32 bit on Win 32 or 64 on 64. If that does not work and u have Win 7 64bit, try PT 32bit.

My PT 8.2.0 version works fine on Win 7 64bit. Someone has mentioned here recently that the newest PT does not work on Win 7 at all! must have Win 8 and up.
