We need core switch for our network

in which we need these features

1- Network Virtulization.
2- Network Monitoring.
3- Automation on all ports.
4- Broadcast Handling.
5- Port Management.
6- Port Segmentation.
7- Port Blocking.
8- Flexible Netflow.

Also we need to create a network for HD Video files, 
which medium is best for fast network.

Most switches provide you all the functionality you listed here except for #3 and 8.

So, the question are:

What port density type of switches you need 24 port, 48 port, 96 port etc..?

do you need 1Gig ports how many?

do you need 10 Gig ports how many?

do you need copper port how many?

do you need fiber ports how many?

What applications are you running?
