WIC-1B-S/T LED OK

CSCO11544512

Hi,

What does the led OK for WIC-1B-S/T mean ? On my T0 connexion, it is sometimes green, at other times no light at all.

Is it a configuration mistake or a problem with the line ?

Regards,

Anuloma -

Hi,

Looking at this book

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/interfaces/ic/hardware/installation/guide/isdn_wic.pdf

Page 12

Step 6

Check that the OK LED goes on, which indicates that the ISDN port has established a connection with

the central office switch.

Check/replace cable -- or it could be a TELCO issue

Hi,

According to google searches this is almost certainly a TELCO issue.

The only other thing I can think of is are using the correct

ISDN switch type.

For france there seems to be a couple

basic-net3 and vn3

Thanks !

I'll call our Telco.

I think the ISDN switch type is good since the same configuration is used in other center of the same company.
