WIC 2T Inter Connectivity Problem

Hi

Basically I am facing a problem where I have this setup:-

                          DTE      HQ     DCE  ( s0/1/1  "admin down" 192.168.9.161 )

                                      /         \

                          ok    /             \    x

                                  /                 \

        DCE     Branch1              Branch2    DTE   ( s0/1 "down" 192.168.9.190 )

The connection btwn HQ & Branch2 has failed !!!

Branch 2 & HQ has all the clocking64k(DCE only), bandwidth56k, no shutdown, ip addresses (subnets)  set properly.

These are WIC 2T (smart serial) connections.

Br 2  &  HQ  flash up on/off   during boot. But lights fail to show after router initialisation complete.

I have checked all WIC 2T cards & replaced with new ones. Used new cables too.

HQ is a cisco 1841 advanced IP services security Router. (SDM)

Branch 1 & 2 are old cisco 2620 routers.

I will give you further info in the attachments. Such as Admin Down/ Down  / sh ip int brief / sh run/ sh interface

If you can help. I thought it was how the bandwidth/ clockrate cmd was worded/ written on each different router.

Any insight is invaluable:   baljitsingh@talktalk.net

How many WIC2T cards are allowed on a 1841 router? I have tried 2 WIC 2T cards i am prsently with & 1 WIC2T card.
